Latimer House – Farnham

The double extension project – an original, untouched, 1960s detached Lower Bourne house, was in need of modernisation for today’s family living. With a small kitchen with only limited space for a table, and a long unusable living room, a full reconfiguration was required to turn this into the home the local family and their dog were looking for.

A side extension was proposed along with a two storey rear extension, to create a generous master suite, two further bedrooms and a shower room. The side extension designed with a vaulted light and bright kitchen and utility room.

The side extension while traditional in appearance, offers a stunning wall of oak framed glazing to the rear of the kitchen, coupled with the large rooflight window floods the kitchen with much needed light. The complete project included large family space as well as two further separate living rooms, for adults and kids and an Oak porch finished the project.
