The Jolly Sailor – Farnham
This project presented an unusual opportunity to convert an abandoned public house into a luxury family home. The elongated floorplan had to be rationalised to achieve some clever spatial arrangements for both open plan living and more intimate spaces.
The existing basement was enlarged and now accommodates an impressive cinema room, gym, sauna and home office space below a section of glass ceiling.
Complex planning policy, Party Wall Awards, CIL Levy and conversion Building Regulations all came into play on this project.
